Identifying professional learning needs

A critical strength of the inquiry and knowledge-building cycle is that it links teachers’ learning needs to those of their Māori students. It does so by encouraging teachers to ask how they’ve contributed to existing outcomes and what they need to learn to do in supporting students to achieve the outcomes the students, their whānau, and the school have agreed on as priorities.
